What is Malaseb Shampoo?
Malaseb Shampoo is a prescription shampoo that contains an antibacterial agent (chlorhexidine) and an antifungal agent (miconazole). Malaseb Shampoo is fragrance free and also contains coat conditioners to help degrease and descale without stripping out all the moisture.
Why is Malaseb Shampoo used for cats and dogs?
Malaseb Shampoo is a prescription shampoo that helps clean and soothe the skin of dogs and cats affected by certain bacterial and fungal conditions.
What problems could my dog or cat have with Malaseb Shampoo?
For topical use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
If eye contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water and contact your veterinarian.
If skin irritation develops or worsens, stop use and contact your veterinarian.
How do you use Malaseb Shampoo?
Wet coat thoroughly with water. Apply and lather over the entire body, allowing 10 minutes of contact time. Rinse completely with water. Do not let your dog or cat lick while bathing to prevent ingestion. Use weekly or as directed by your veterinarian.
What is in Malaseb Shampoo?
The active ingredients in Malaseb Shampoo are Miconazole Nitrate 2%, an antifungal, Chlorhexidine Gluconate 2%, and antibacterial.
Safety directions:
Will irritate the eyes and skin. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. When using the product wear rubber gloves, If the product enters the eye, wash it out immediately with water. Wash hands after using.
First aid:
If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information centre. Phone Australia 131126. If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. Give a glass of water. Storage instructions: Store below 30℃ (room temperature)
